this is an acrylic blank that was sent to me to try by Dermot(shedhead). It turned lovely, it looks lovely and i think they are great.

no doubt you will be making more in the future , start selling them on ebay mate, they are good enough.

Hi Steve the casting looks good. I have turned some other castings in to pens like yours, as i said some worked okay, but some shattered into pieces almost glass like. I think this was because i mixed too much hardener. I would be interested to find out how the orange blank turns out. It will make a very jazzy looking pen, not one for conservative owner. Will have to wait till my freezer of a shed heats up a few degrees before i do any work in 2009.
