hi,
i just bought a scheppach 3200 thicknesser off ebay. it comes without a plug or cable. i have absolutely no idea how easy to buy/install a new cable and plug would be. any advice would be very much appreciated.
thanks, will

it will come with male euro stile plug on the machine you just need to make sa lead comprising of a female euro plug to a 13 amp plug but out of the correct rated cable its easy 3 wire each end to correct terminals in the plug.

thanks for the replies. so is the view that it would be an easily achievable job aand nothing to really worry about?
cheers

13 Amp? I don`t think so..I have the smaller version Scheppach and thats on a 16 Amp circuit as specified in the manual....and not a shared circuit.
Get a sparky in if you are not sure.

I've always run my 260 on a 13A plug, no problems. The 3200 is 3kw input, so subject to start-up current issues, still OK on a 13A plug. The fuse is either going to go a lot when you switch on, or not. I'd try it before installing a special 16A socket circuit.
