How much lighting for my workshop?? Help

Hello,

I'm just getting to the wiring / lighting satge of my workshop. Its small - 8ft x 12ft , with a ceiling height going from 6.5tf to 11ft.

I'd like it really well lit and am thinking of going for two double daylight HPF tubes in diffusers. i.e four tubes in total. 36 watt

Will this be enough / too much / I really have no idea.

Any info / advice much appreciated, Paul

My workshop is 30ft x 12ft, i have 4 of these lights and i have never struggled to see.

My ceilings are quite tall, well its apex and the lights hang around 8-10ft off the ground.

The workshop I'm going to be moving into is roughly 16ft x 16ft, Will 4 of these 36 watt ones be sufficient?

Just looked at mine (they was already there before i moved in and very blown)

I have 3 NOT 4 sorry double tube 1500mm defused, the tubes are 58w each. with 30x12ft (35sq meters) i have never struggled to see, always have plenty of light.

I have just turned them on there so there still worming up (don't take long).
