Just bought one of those cyclone jobbies and hoping someone could point me in the direction of a hose/adaptor supplier - Axminster seem a bit sparse on this. If I remember correctly the cyclone is 55mm od 50mm id and will be going to shopvac/festool.

Cheers

If you can't find original parts, a heat gun and pvc pipe/ fittings usually work just as well.

Hose adaptors are never the right size. I gone through the alternatives of;
pvc adhesive tape over the tops..
heat gun and big zip straps.
make my own from wood with holes saws.
pvc tape wound round the smaller one till it fits the bigger one.
and finally, silicone sealer and self tapping screws.
Amazingly, they all work! Just a matter of how houseproud you are.

I bought some 75mm glue lined heavy duty heat shrink with a 3:1 shrink ratio, 5 quid for 450mm, works a treat, as sunnybob says, the stupid things never just fit. You need a heat gun/paint stripper as it takes a bit of heating up and also a while to cool down and the glue to set so needs support, but once cool its bomb proof.
