Holiday Souvenir

I picked this up a couple of weeks ago in Rome from a street vendor. I don't normally succumb but this was too good to miss for €20 [after negotiations ]

The top is a single carved piece with irregular spirals scrollsawn and the centres nailed to the base.

The little bit I can see of it looks really good, anyone else having display problems ? Only this site I have probs with :evil:
