I am looking to purchase a pair of quality hinges for an exterior gate ( 1 m high 700 wide) any ideas?

Galvanised, cranked, 8", hook and band hinges.???

When you say quality? Do you mean cosmetic appearance or strength and durability. If the later I use these for heavy duty gates with suitable stainless steel bolts and washers..

Cranked or straight depending on the gate being flush or inset to the frame ..

Kirkpatrick are a good make, available form several places but I have found Marches Ironmongery to be particularly helpful in the past.
