High quality pen kit?

I want to make a gift.
I've some nice wood and have practised so I think I can do it.
I'd like the pen meachanics to be as high quality as possible.
Is there a kit for the innards and nib that doesn't disappoint? Cartridge ink pen btw.

Watching the replies with interest.
In ballpont land, the best I've seen so far is the Beaufort Ink Scirocco.
I haven't used them but Beaufort also offer some quality ink pen kits as well as components for people wanting to progress to "kitless" pens.

I wanted the same ready for Christmas presents and went with Beaufort - two Mistral RB and one Leveche RB kit.

Once I'd made two, I immediately placed another order for a further 10 kits including the Mistral Fountain Pen Kit.
