I’ve been lurking in the background for a few months and have picked up a lot of useful tips. Now taking the plunge to become visible.
I’ve done DIY for years and during COVID enjoyed some simple woodwork, including using a router for the first time. This stand for an exercise ball was one of the items I made
In recent months I’ve been slowly building my first workbench based on the design from Dennis of Hooked on Wood.
I’ve got part of a single garage for woodwork so have to limit the number and size of machines. Main ones are a track saw and a router in the bench I built.
Most recently I made this MDF prototype for logs for a new log burner.
Will do actual one in hardwood which I have little experience in. Intention is to try laminations for the curved part. Hopefully the angle isn’t too tight.
I’m retiring at the end of this week, so will have more time for woodwork, including improving my very limited hand tool skills. Looking forward to my future interactions in this forum.
Regards, John
