Help!!

Morning Everyone. Over the weekend I was using my Screwfix dovetail jig

and I accidentally cut one side of the finger guide with the router rendering one side of the machine useless. Does anybody know where I can buy a replacement finger guide? I phoned Screwfix and their advice was "buy another machine" as they don't stock spare parts.

Looks very like the Sip unit and others so maybe they will sell the parts.

could you use the existing finger guide to cut a new finger guide using a laminate trimmer? Cut one half then turn it over to cut the other, giving a full length good version?

Do you have some plastic and a trimmer?

You can get an aluminium one from Axminster for their jig. It fits the Screwfix one and doesn't flex as much as the plastic original either

I think you will find it is the same as the axminster one here

so you should be able to get parts for it
