Help Required

Hi all, hope you can help with this one ? I made some fruit, Apples and Pears last year with a timber that when finished had a green colour to it. For the life of me I can't remember what is was. I can't post a picture as I sold them on.

I have looked on the internet at loads of different wood types but have not come across anything with the green looking colour of the ones that I had done.

Perhaps a bit of a stupid question

Was it "tulipwood" ie yellow poplar that can have a green heart sometimes?

Or Laburnum sapwood can have a greeny tinge

False acacia? I can't remember if it is more or less green than labernum.

Mabye this, Pao Santos

Sold as a substitute for Lignum Vitae which it resembles but it is substantially softer ( still a hard timber) it has an attractive green colour and should polish up nicely. The smell when working is very nice and the colour is exceptional, it does not have a distinct sapwood like Lignum vitae ( yellow) instead the sapwood is green like the heartwood. Should turn nicelly and polish up to a great finish however it is espensive.
