Today a colleague of mine approached me to ask if I could ID something that he'd found in his father in law's tool box.
I work in IT by the way so neither of us are experts you understand!
Anyway, he said his father in law was "into veneering", the tool in question is a collection of flat steel plates with slots cut into them. They are approx 3 inches square and look like combs with differing width of tongues/gaps.
They were in a cardboard box with a stamp that appears to read "quick ease tools" might be "quick case tools".
Any ideas what these were for and if they are collectors items?
