I’m new to the forum and have been upgrading my machines as I have out grown the ones I have.

I have recently bought a Startrite 275 Tilt Arbour Table saw. It’s a little bigger than the 10” I had previously but it needs some love as the method of dust extraction was to block up all the holes with gaffer tape and use what I can only think of was a vacuum cleaner.

I have dug most of the parts out and sent the motor (3 phase) for a recondition however does anyone have a manual for this machine with exploded diagrams of the mechanisms and electrical wiring?

Having taken it apart I want to be able to put it back together with some authority.

Best Regards

Hi Chas

Thanks for the reply,

I did see this thread and it was most helpful before I bought the machine as the blade and fence was something I checked thoroughly. The thread also alluded to a manual with mechanical and electrical diagrams which on further investigation cost £35 from Lathes co uk. I have failed in searching the internet for any useful document and having been stung previously I was hoping that a member would share.

Best Regards
Dan

Thanks for this link, I must admit to not having seen this one and the 300 looks to be very similar.

In fact with the sliding table exploded view I’m getting the feeling that I can do away with the bench that I have been using and get the welder out for some metal butchery.

I will set about dismantling the drive mech this weekend….

Best Regards
Dan
