My boss moans about slight mistakes ( spelling, anything) with a demand we pay attention to detail.

This morning he has rang in to say he will be late because he put petrol in his Diesel car

Can you wits supply me with some pithy remarks to make on his arrival.
And to throw at him for the rest of his career

Edit - Damn - can a mod move this to the chat forum please

Maybe you should point out how to spell diesel for him

Ask him if he pulled up to a pump and thought 'Dissel Do' ?

or

Spend the entire day picking things up and saying 'Diesel do'.

when you see him making a cup of tea ask reassure him that he wants sugar and not salt in it

Hi, Lurker

Make him tea instead of coffee.

Or miss spell all your Emails to him.

Pete

When a colleague did the same I photoshopped his face on this photo. Oh how we laughed!

bugger, thats a bloody big picture and not sure how to resize it! sorry!

We had a guy do that at work - started a rumour that he'd a bought himself a duel fuel car. The p1ss taking lasted weeks.

Even now when someone mentions they're buying a car, one of the "others" is bound to ask "What a duel-fuel one like so and so?"

I'd be delighted if he sacked you Lurker :D

Won't happen because:

He does not have the power
He is a nice bloke
AND
He is clever enough to know I'm brilliant at my job \:D/
