Hello. Joined at last.

Hi everyone,

I've been lurking on this forum for ages and thought it was high time that I joined. As a completely unskilled amateur I'd like to express my thanks for all the useful information I've already picked up from past posts and ask that you don't get too upset at the stupid questions that I'm going to be asking in the future.

I live in rural Italy where, thankfully, my projects so far fit right in with the rustic look. I'm an olive farmer by day, but enjoy working with wood in my spare time. To date my projects have included simple things like bookshelves, kitchen units and bedroom cupboards (and I wouldn't dare post any photos having seen some the level of skill by you lot.)

Good to be onboard, and as we say here 'Aguri per Natale'.

Welcome Contadino. There is never any stupid questions, don't worry we were all there once. As for posting photos of your work, we would like to see them good or bad as everything helps each of us on here. You may think your work is bad but others may think otherwise. I post on here if it turns out well or I make a mistake as we are all on the learning curve in some way. :wink:

This is a nice forum 98% of the time .
I have made a lot of rustic wooden items-Maybe I can be of benfit to you.
Also keep the olives coming. My wife will not cook with anything except virgin olive oil.
