Basic diy person interested in learning. Just working on preparing old floors to be sanded, also want to make some cradled mdf panels to paint on. Any advice etc. is very welcome.

Hi to you and welcome to the forum, best advice I’ll give you if working with mdf is a make sure your dust extraction is adequate and if you don’t have one - a good quality face mask- resperator. :

Thanks, will be getting a good respirator, will probably try to cut outdoors. Just found out about track saws / plunge saws, sounds like that is what I need.
