Hi. I'm an artisan canoe and kayak builder working with traditional systems and skills. Cedar and Canvas canoes and Skin-on-Frame canoes and kayaks. Also run a few workshops in this and associated crafts here and there from time to time. I've been at it professionally since 2005 having moved out of teaching in the secondary school system.

I'm largely self taught - which means I'm pretty good at what I do now . . . but have some serious gaps in my woodworking knowledge base!
