Hi, a quick hello from a new member, a seasoned DIY woodworker, but since retiring, using the time to build up my skills, currently working on my woodturning skill level. My grandfather was a carpenter, building buses for Alexanders of Camelon, but sadly he never passed down his skills to me or my dad, so I am largely self taught and have a large chest of his old tools, many of which I still use regularly Cheers, Andrew

Hi and welcome to what is a fantastic knowledge and experience based forum!
When I was a student I spent an Easter holiday working on a pig farm there living in a caravan with a heater on 24/7 to stop it from freezing up! Happy days !
