Hello! (again) and a question

I've just fired off a few emails regarding the cedar, I'm going to veneer the bottom rather than use solid stock. Do I leave the cedar unfinished/bare?

Don't finish the inside of a drawer with anything. Most oil or wax finishes turn sour after a while, and a musty smell develops.
Maybe you can get away with finishing with polyurethane type varnish, but myself, I leave the interior of drawers raw.
