It really isn't bad. It's a very simple bit of kit, so really not much to go wrong with it. I've used mine to drill several 6" holes in the wall, broken up 20 meters of concrete path, a shed base, demolished a outdoors loo and coal shed. I've definitely got my moneys worth out of it. Just make sure you top up the grease on a regular basis. A mate has one as well and he's done a lot with it as well. I actually have the one with the case and the box of bits:

But the drill is the same.

I have the 2kg version, which I bought a few years ago for a one-off job. It just won't die, and gets used for all sorts of unpleasant jobs. Amazing for chiseling concrete.

£50 - can't be bad, probably as cheap as hiring for a couple of days.

+1. I bought one when they were £65, and couldn't believe the value even then. This thing is a beast. Rotary, Percussion and SDS - there is nothing subtle about what this drill does. For a one off job it's a no-brainer, and once you've got it you'll find other uses for it.

We have both on the farm and they have been really abused and keep going, like most Titan stuff it's very heavy and overbuilt and a bit agricultural but great value considering the price.

I bought one for a house refurb last year.
I carefully put the reciept & box in the loft because i expected it to die after a few months but knew screwfix were good on returns. There is a 3 year guarantee

I echo what the others have said, its been a godsend this past year and looks like carrying on for a long time yet
I expected the supplied accessories to be made of cheese but have yet to blunt any of them.

Found one hidden in the barn when we bought in France five years ago, still using it, no idea how old it is, but for nothing it was a bargain.
