Although some southern states of America might grasp the concepts of climate change I think that, generally, the electorate in other western countries do understand the consequences of the recent climatic changes and would support their leaders. Obviously, like any mass, there is inertia but, like most inetiaa the few will see the light one day.Not so sure. If it was an issue at the ballot box the politicos would really start paying attention.
Progress has never come from the top throughout history, it's always been pressure from below.
Sounds far fetched but if threads like this change a few peoples minds it could the most useful thing we can do - the same conversation is going on all over the world.
