Heat gun recommendation

Which should I go for, a 2kw or a 300 to 600w type?
Also which make do you suggest please?

I use a heat gun most days and have been through many over the years. My current one is a DeWalt, ive had it for three years so far and it is great, it is very comfortable in the hand, has a handy stand that pulls out from the handle and the controls are in an intuitive position.

Thanks for that. Is it D26411 model, 240v and 1800w, does it stand on the temperature setting? Cheers.

It seems good to me, comfortable and stands on end, good long lead.
Not used mine much and treat it well by letting it run on the cold setting after use.
I'm not sure if this one has a ceramic part on the inside, or if thats on a fancier dewalt, but am careful just incase.
