Did some light diy work over the weekend, and whilst pulling out a nail this happend :shock:



I didn't notice it had happend until i wanted to use it again
 
What happened did a artic lorry run over it? :lol: It must have been faulty if just pulling a nail did that.

Has happened to me recently with a cheap hammer from Wilkinsons.
Definitely a case of buy cheap - buy twice!!

Multiple times in fact. One cheaper hammer of my own, when I help friends renovation I always take my own tools including simple thing like especially a good (and expensie) hamer. You should see their faces when you swing twce with their beloved hammer to drive a 2 1/2" nail in all the way and have a short hamer to give back to them. :shock:

It's like triggers broom - that has lasted him for years and years, only had a couple of new handles and few new broom brushes !! :)

I had this hammer for about 10 years, and has done lots of hard work, i ques it wasjust it's time to go. :cry: (and yes you pay what you get, as i think it only costed a tenner or so)
