If you do make it pop over to the Classic Hand Tools stand where I'll be keeping and eye on their Lost Art Press section. We haven't met face to face, even though we've exchanged messages, and I'd like to be able to put a face to a name. Slainte.Peter announced a couple of months back he couldn't attend. I forgot it was on. need to see if I can make it
Looking at the exhibitor listings is @Peter Sefton not there this year?
Doesn't look like it. Shame, as I usually spend some money with Peter.Have been a longtime demonstrator and exhibitor at the Harrogate show but won't be attending this year, hope all goes well for those who are visiting or working there next month.
Cheers
Peter
Thanks Nick, Sunday it is then, will leave the wife at home just in caseI'll be there with Snainton Woodworking on their stand showing some lovely Laguna machines with decent pricing offers on them, any members on here who are going, feel free to drop by and say 'Hi'
@Dave65 - Sunday tends to be less crowded in my experience as an exhibitor, far better if you want a bit more space to look and chat in detail with the people on the stands. There's also potential bargains to be had by getting display machines that exhibitors don't want to take home - that's assuming they want to sell them & haven't already been sold to people who are returning on the Sunday to collect though & they are collectable - yup I've seen wives sitting squashed in the back of a small car alongside all sorts of machinery that has been crammed in..
Cheers all, and see you if I see you
Nick
We have Richard, at the last one on the saturdayIf you do make it pop over to the Classic Hand Tools stand where I'll be keeping and eye on their Lost Art Press section. We haven't met face to face, even though we've exchanged messages, and I'd like to be able to put a face to a name. Slainte.
Oh, so we did. Sorry. The trouble with meeting people at shows as someone keeping an eye on a stand is that you meet so many that you forget who you've met. And I'm hopeless with remembering names anyway, even if I recall the face, ha, ha. Slainte. We have Richard, at the last one on the saturday
I had a cork fedora on, the only notable thing about me. We chatted for about 10 mins or so. If I can go, I'll be wearing it again
