Hardwood / Wood Supplers?

Hi,

i'm considering manufacturing my own hardwood driveway gates but have a number of questions, some of which I shall ask for advice in this message, some possibly in other posts. I would really appreciate any advice as you all seem pretty advanced judging by the project pics I have been viewing, very impressive...

1. Can you recommend any suppliers of hardwood such as Meranti?
2. On a closed board/T&G gate, would you buy the Meranti in t&g form or use your own router table to form?
3. Could you recommend a router and router table?
