Handy gadget when you need an extra pair of hands!

Got this at a tool show a couple of years ago, only used it a few times but it's really useful when you need an extra pair of hands.

I never see it mentioned anywhere so thought I would post it here in case it's of use to others.

I think you need to be careful which extractors you use it with as you are effectively blocking the end of the hose. Apparently Festool extractors have some sort of bypass system so it's okay to use, I guess other decent extractors could be okay too but it might burn out a standard type shop vac!

I'd use a batten myself - cut a notch in the end like a clothes prop - and do without the noise!

Me too, but it's handy, compact to transport and probably non marking on painted surfaces. A good solution for this job.
