HAND SAW

Hi all,
My set tool has few hand saws. I thought that it is time to buy others. Can anyone give me advice about the brandand type ?
Because here in Italy "hand wood-working" is lost much time ago, I can't find any good hand saw. I thought to buy on ebay.

What do you think about it??

Any advice is well accepted.

Hi Geppetto,

Ebay can reveal the odd treasure but taking someone elses word for a good saw can be a risk particularly if they are just clearing out a bereaved parents tool bag and they know nothing of what they are selling.

Why not give Roberts and Lee a phone 020 8363 6452. Martin Lee is the grandson of the founder and now in charge they still produce excellant quality saws.

Pax are another but i prefer R&L

If Alf is still roaming about I'm sure she will have a few good links
