Hand file manufacturer ESC Sheffield ?

Hi all

I picked up some bits and pieces at a boot sale, one being a wooden handled fine triangular file

Which I am pleased to say cleaned up very well

Its marked ESC Sheffield (at least the ES is clear, the C is badly stamped so could be an O I guess)

I can't locate an obvious maker in Sheffield it might be, anyone know who it might be?

Thanks for that, I suspect you may be right

I found that same link but it seemed they only did large stuff but now looking further I see they did small tools as well
