Hammer N4400 230V bandsaw in excellent condition after very light use in teaching workshop.
No rust or damage on the machine which has been upgraded with Felder 120mm extraction point under bottom guide rollers for improved dust extraction.
The 3.5 HP (2.5KW) has plenty of power from a 16amp domestic supply.
The 440mm cast iron wheels allow a cutting height of 310mm and max rip width of 420mm.
The cast iron bed (420mm x 575mm) will tilt 10 degrees negative and 45 degrees positive giving real versatility, with the machined mitre slot.
The high/low fence is fully adjustable in its length and can be used left or right of the blade, excellent for work support when the bed is tilted.
Safety features include 10 second braking, micro switched doors, fully adjustable guards and fine adjustable bearing roller guides supporting the blades between 6-25mm.
Very easy blade changing with tension guide and fully adjustable top tracking, it’s a great and robust machine.
Weighing 170 Kg with an overall hight of 1865mm and blade length of 3976mm.
