Sold Hammer N4400 Bandsaw

For sale is my Hammer N4400 bandsaw. Light use. Excellent band saw. Slight surface rust on table but this has only happened this month due to moisture in the workshop so shouldn’t take much cleaning up. I don’t have loading facilities so it will be lifting by hand. 2 or us lifted it so if you are strong enough I am happy to give you a lift into a van. It will fit into a transit sized van. It’s located in Cheshire. It is an 240V but runs off an 16amp plug and 16amp fuse. About 15 minutes from junction 18 or 19 of the M6. Here is a link for the current model on sale from Hammer. I don’t think it’s much different but please remember you are buying a used one not a 2023 model so there may have been some changes to spec.

@Linwoodjoinery Sideways and I have posted a lot of machines, including bandsaws we use Farralls Transport and never had an issue. We shipped the SCM bandsaw we renovated and did a thread on with them. Their rates a very good. May be worth considering so you can ship the saw?

Bolt it to a pallet, a strap over the centre to help keep it stable. Plenty of rust preventer such as Metalguard a layer of machine wax over that. Wrap it, label it and ship it. You can request a tail lift for collection and delivery.

Have you looked at and consider the Athertons bikes? Handmade in Wales and look the part.
