Hi does anyone own one of these Hammer K3 Basic Table Saw and if so would you recommend them ??
Also do you know if they will take a dado blade ?? Plus do you think £1,100 is to much for a five year old saw ?
thank's in anticipation Mock

  thank's for the reply

Mod edit- You posted in the OT board, moved to where it should be.

hi mock the dado prep as hammer calls it has to be ordered from new its not a retro fit the shaft for the blade is different and it only takes hammers own dado set , as for price new they are around £ 2,400 plus so thats not a bad price all depends how much work its done . ian

Hi Ian what have you got was that a hammer ?? (hammer) (hammer) The one i'm looking at is a 16 amp plug ill have to talk to my neighbor who's a electrician to see how much work it is to swap over from a 13 amp

hi mock yes my machines a hammer you will need 16 amp power for the machine think its a 3hp motor as for the electrics if you have a rcd type fuse box it needs a type c rcd which stops it tripping on start up just make sure your power supply is up to the load i think my rcd is a 20 amp one but il have to check did you have any luck with the bandsaw ?

No not with the one i ordered but i'm suppose to phone some one else on Friday but i'm thinking about what to buy first a good table saw or my band saw decision's decision's lol
mock

very difficult mate the bandsaw is the more versatile machine of the two just sit down and list what you want to , do from what you said before a bandsaw would suit you better to start though ian
