Hallo everyone
I'm retired now and hope to get back to making wooden stuff.
I used to make a frugal living as a self taught wood turner on a 100 year old treadle lathe. then a Coronet , then got involved in developing a mobile wide bandsaw for milling trees in situ.
Eventually ended up with 60" cut Forester band mill and kiln and wood processing machines & a barn full of planked timber.
Always liked unusual stuff so had Mulberry fruit woods holly etc. Good fun but not good for back! Trees are heavy.
Then helped raise daughter and do. reception stuff for my osteopath wife.
