Great Idea Alun, but I would have to reneage on it for a while ,but as Blister said his Idea seems to have hit a blank wall! However if the right insentive is there it's a great way to get everyone doing their utmost to come out on top we could have a 5 nations tourney and you would have to take my word on what I had made :lol: :lol: "I" am very honest. So give it a bit of thought they do it in clubs, Is Patrick Litchfield still around I wonder, He could make anything look good Hmmm. REgards Boysie

Just a thought.

Many probably wouldn't enter a competition as such but might be more prepared to submit work for comparison purposes.

Placing some changing categories here within which turners of all abilities could submit their interpretation of a brief without being judged might be more encouraging and less 'competitive'.

Not that I am against competitions and judgements etc. but these can seem harsh and off putting for the less confident or less experienced turner who should feel able to contribute.
