There are a lot of people who have no interest in the "OLD" stuff but for anyone like myself I think this sort of event and circumstances is a great pity

Gutted that I missed the sale, yes #-o , but the fact it has all now been dispersed upsets me the most

I found it by chance when having a ride out that way and loved it 8)

Wonder how much they will take for the Mill

It's a good thing we don't live in or near to Diss, I could have spent a small fortune! I really like the old carts and a "stereo gram" sold for £6!!!! that is an antique of the future and a reminder of my past!

A Millers Falls boring machine ..... #-o

If I'd known I would have sent the in - laws with a shopping list.

£120 though .....

stone me, i was in Diss for the last 2 days and didn't know this was on, but with a boot full full of wood i probably wouldn't get anything in the car anyway..

Yes I agree it's a shame to see it all dispersed - this stuff has more value seen in the context of the other pieces. I do wonder who the buyers were though. Most of the prices paid seemed fair to me - so could have been paid by people wanting to keep the things, not just sell them on . I'd like to know if it was a few people buying many lots each.

Does anyone know any rich footballers or music stars who could be ready to develop an interest in old tools?

Richard - if you fancy a beam boring machine there was one in Bristol Design when I last looked in - but the price ticket did say £200!
