Hi all and seasons greetings,

Does anyone know where I can get hold of a 30mm guide bush for a Flex Router (whichI understand are idnetical to the Porter Cable routers). Trying to avoid having to buy a unibase but cannot seem to find a supplier. The flex has a triangle insert which you screw guide bushes into. The guide usually comes in two peices. Can probably get them from over the pond but will be imperial of course. It is for a worktop jig.

Any ideas?

There are several places on Ebay with sets - e.g. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/10pc-ROUTER-GUIDE ... 0528197795
If you do a search on Ebay for 'router guide bush' you'll see the same set for sale at a variety of prices. I got my set for my Flex router a few years ago from Axminster, though i'm not sure if they still sell them. I also bought a guide that fits in the router collet that allows the guide bush to be centred accurately. Also, you need to make sure the knurled locking ring is screwed on tightly when using the guide bushes otherwise the bush will come loose!
