Thanks everyone for the advice another quick question I've been wanting to make some cabinets out of some nice ply does anyone know where I can get hold of furniture quality ply in the southampton/ Hampshire area

There are no cheap places that I have found but good quality stuff is stocked by
Bamptons and totton timber
I try to support a small independant chandlers ford timber who will get almost anything to order as well as a modest stock of common stuff. They will cut sheet goods so you can get it in the car free.

You could get creative with your offcuts, join them into a hefty avant garde outdoor bench maybe, or some other solid furniture. Get arty, i enjoy trying to design things within the limitations of offcuts and found materials...
