We stood at the same sort of spot one evening an hour before sunset and other visitors were getting in front of us to get that rim view, honest, I sat on the edge in the end :wink: (1981 when we were young)

definitely a bit scary, not sure if I would walk on that glass though.

There is a similar thing (although smaller) at the top of the Sears building in Chicago

Apparently $87 per person and all over in about 2 mins. You can't even take your own photos - not even with a camera phone. General opinion by reviewers is that it is a total rip-off.

I did have a flight in a light aircraft down the Grand Canyon. As we flew across the desert and about 500 feet, a canyon suddenly appeared. The plane dipped very slightly in the downdraft and I thought how unimpressive it was. But no, 'twas not the Grand Canyon but a smaller sibling. Didn't realise that that part of the world was seriously fissured. We flew on. Another canyon, slightly bigger. Same slight drop. Was that it? Still unimpressed.

And again. Same thing happened.

Then the pilot brought the plane down to about 100 feet above the ground and seconds after he did this, the earth opened up, the plane seriously dropped and there was the most almighty chasm ...The Grand Canyon. Awesome and humbled.

I expect yopu know that the it is Indian Reservation territory and its pay back time. :wink:

In Oklahoma, there's not much that people would pay to look at, so the Tribes get their monetary due from all the casinos they've built. They're everywhere now.
