Hi we are having a trip to UK next month and I would like to include a few sidetrips to see what British woodies are doing. I am particularly interested in Intarsia but I also sell scrolled portraits at local markets and my wife is a pyrographer. Can any member recommend some worthwhile places or markets to visit? We are driving down from Inverness to London Via Edinburgh Newcastle Norfolk and Worcestershire over several weeks visiting relatives and friends so we are zigzagging around a bit. I have tried searching on the internet but haven't really come up with much.
cheers

The only Worcestershire venue I know of which may be of interest to you is the Jinney Ring Craft Centre. It is a long time since I visited it though.

If you decide to pay it a visit, I suggest you call or email the From The Tree workshop in advance to check opening times.

Enjoy your trip to the UK :) .

It is a shame isn't it. There seem to be quite a few woodturning clubs around but I haven't been able to find anything for scrolling or intarsia.

Maybe someone could start a new thread with any clubs they know and it could be added to for future reference?

Regards
Sean
