I have had a rather expensive Gomex blade waiting around in my workshop for the past few months. Its been waiting to make some sawdust out of some walnut. Used this weekend and what an amazing bit of metal wizardry. For some reason whilst spinning it was alot more quiet than my usual blade, but it went through the walnut like butter, and the edges had not a splinter of breakout. It also went through the wood very quietly too, was kinda strange.
So for all you festool fans, and bit of care with your table saw and a good blade seems to work pretty well too. Not wanting to start up the Green vs the world debate again.
And can i just say I am nowhere connected to Gomex, I am so far just a newbie with some ambitous plans.
