George Buchanan

Can anyone help,
George Buchanan used to write for Traditional Woodworking. I enjoyed his comment pages which were at the back of the magazine, they were commentary on his woodworking life but not just about woodworking and usually ended with a moral. Anybody know anything about him.

Nick Gibbs may know something as he took over Traditional Woodworking anf turned into British Woodworking.

I seem to remember reading somewhere that he had died but would be delighted to be told I am wrong; always enjoyed his stuff. For me, his column and the late lamented Jim Kingshott's articles were what made Trad worth buying.

I hope he hasn`t died, but I think he was getting on a bit when he was writing for Traditional woodworking.
