Good day

We have some old table top and my wife asked to make some small legs so it can be used as coffee table or just a table to put things during the barbecue.

That, gave me the chance to "play" a little bit with the new "Rolling mortise jig"...it works perfect...and fast.

I could screw the hinges to the top but, because the top was cupped, I made some extensions or elevations that I glue and screw to the top to straighten it (the table must be folded and stored for the Polish winter).

On one of the pictures (in the garden) you will see the drill connected to a flashlight. This flashlight has a sealed lead/acid 6V accumulator so, it is used as "double function", light/drill.

The legs were painted with two layers of impregnate and the top, with Wood/Metal lacquer

So here it is without any text on the pictures...for a change...

Regards

Looks good... The Black & White colourscheme really finishes it off well.

I recognise your corded screwdriver from another post - You gave me the idea to do the same thing to an old 4.8V driver I had lying around with a dead battery pack - It works far better a 7.2V supply than it ever did on it's own batteries - Thanks for the idea.

Thank you for the kind replies

I'm not responsible for the garden...I'm limited to dig holes and lift the heavy trees and...."go back to your garage" :)

I'm so happy that you can use the idea and save the money of a new battery pack (or a new drill) for something more useful...

Something interesting...I bought a Sealed Lead/Acid 6V - 5AH battery for about 10 Pounds but the flashlight (with the same battery inside) cost me only 5 Pounds and it comes with an auto-stop charger...maybe it's better to look for a flashlight...

I'm sorry Niki but this is just not on . You are making far to many things and going to lose your title as "The king of jigs " :D Nice work !

Thank you JFC

Well, as you noticed, they are all my wife's "orders"....and when the time comes to buy a new router...I have all the "points"...that's how I got the EB PK 255 with the sliding table.. :) ...Necessity mate :)

From time to time I have to "downgrade" myself and build something except jigs... :)
