Furniture Exhibition in Yorkshire

I am taking part in an exhibition of furniture as a member of NCFM in Leyburn, North Yorkshire. If anyone would like to drop in and have a look around, the details are below. Slainte.

Been there today - very impressed by some of the designs (not convinced by a few, but there's room for everything) and even more impressed by the craftmanship on show ... both inspiring and disheartening for the hobbyist who's skills are orders of magnitude away. A good day out - recomended for those who've not been yet, and might not have planned too ...

I would be interested to know how you found out about the exhibition, as advertising and PR has been limited this year.Was it from the NCFM web site?

Not at all, but naturally it's taken a day or so to deal with the show set-up, the opening night, stewarding duties yesterday, taking photographs, processing them... and finally updating my website to make them public.

It was Richards post here at the top of this thread that drew my attention - I tried the idea out on my better half who agreed it might be a good morning out (and enjoyed the auction that went on there as an additional brownie point) - very glad it got posted here as hadn't come across it otherwise.

Tom - look at the web site and follow the levels down to look at individual pieces - probably better picture than I'd have taken! You might find a few ideas there ... the coffee table with inlaid coffee mug ring stains made me smile, not sure the joke would last though ...
