before this goes to the scrapman
does anyone want anything from my old drill press
the column is approx 70mm I can try get a more accurate if anyone interested
it is obviously collection only due to weight
the motor seems good and the drill platforms are in reasonable condition
I know a long shot but rather offer it before I scrap it
I am in no rush if somebody wants something

could I have the motor and pulley? I am not sure when I will get down your way. It looks like it will fit my meddings which has a similar mounting system.

I will put it to one side

Is it run-out on the spindle, or just slop? My Chinese piece of carp moves about 12 mm at full extension; if yours moves less than that it will start to look very attractive to me, even with no motor!

last shout before the weekend scrapman
the main post looks useful for something but not got a clue what

What about using the base and column as a stand for something? Perhaps to hold a dust extraction nozzle, or a light? Possibly to hold a clamp to hold items when soldering? A piece of plywood with a hole drilled out to fit the column, and a wing bolt to keep it in place would allow anything to be attached.
Too far away for me unfortunately.

Could I have the two metal studs with flats on them, which support the motor bracket, please? Mine are damaged and it makes it difficult to adjust the tension of the pulley.

Hi Steve

all yours, do you want the bars and brackets with slots?
pm your address and mobile and email ( i know a bit much, but most couriers now want inside leg measurements)
