It is such a shame that nowadays trends come and go so easily, I know years ago these items of furniture would be passed on and down to other family members that would appreciate it and also take care of it . But with time and care they can often be repurposed or broken down and re used . The likes of Ikea and oak furniture land all have their part in this . Years ago it was MFI ..
