OK [USER=34667]@Jameshow[/USER] I fully understand, we've decided that it will now go & take its chances at a local antique auction house. Hopefully, it'll go to someone with a large period property or hotel ??? Dark timber furniture is not in vogue and larger pieces like this just don't fit on our modern homes. We've just cleared my mother in laws home and there was another 1950's wardrobe that we were going to keep but it wouldn't fit up our stairs!!! I'll let you all know how it goes.
