Foredom SR, Any owners ?

Picked a used one up recently , Have a few questions.

I do have a similar rotary tool but it's not a Foredom SR. Rotary Tool
I got it for £68.00 and then received £20.00 for a review. I use it either with a pedal on the lathe or with a voltage regulator when standing at the bench.

Which one? An acquaintance who makes jewellery and silverware says his is the best tool he ever bought, but there are different models for different purposes. I found this the other day -

A rotary tool for power carving. More for the detailed, intricate end of the spectrum.

I'm not on here so much now so didn't see it Blister.

I've had a Foredom for many years but without looking I can't remember which model it is, I got it s/h from a mate so it's an old one but an excellent bit of kit which I don't use often but much appreciate the quality when it is used.

I’ve got the foredom rotary machine, apologies I’ve not been lurking on site for a while. I believe it’s the SR I’ll check tonight when I get home. Excellent for power carving, a bit underused at the moment

I intend to service the machine before putting it to use , When it arrived the previous owner did not send the spanner needed to remove the cutter , He said he does not have it ? , I need one of these some lube for the flex shaft plus a bearing set ,brushes , should then be good to go.

What's the difference of just using a flex drive with any rotary power tool such as Proxxon & Dremel etc.?
