You could turn the rings in 10 halfs and join them togeather making sure you get the grain lined up . :twisted:

There was an article in the magazine sometime over the last couple of years where someone created interlocking rings without splitting one. He turned a goblet with a wide area of stem and then carved the the rings using a burr in a dremel (or similar). It looked like a lot of work!

That was the Original Title at the start of the year, the detailed description for this months rules and the Project Title were changed by Alan when July rules were laid out.
