Following on from the kind comments, lack of wip pics and having a few bits, I thought I'd show you a rough approximation of how I did the corners/legs.
The legs were also drilled and tapped in the end grain to take a fluted bit of s/s threaded rod fixed with epoxy.
The frame was shaped, jointed then glued.
All cleaned up the corner faces were bandsawn off.
Due to lack of stock size the leg making had to be done on the splay with various jigs.
A sanding drum in pillar drill was used to sand the bandsawn curves.
The mitred corner details were glued and dressed off.
Holes in frame to take threaded fixing followed.
