Flying ribbons

Whilst turning some very wet cherry yesterday I was getting some lovely shavings coming off so thought I'd try to get a photo. Took a few efforts, but this was the best...



Hopefully I'll get some photos when it's finished.

I love turning wet wood. Only problem I fiond is that I have to stop to untangle it from the tool rest so that I can see what I'm doing. Much more fun and easier than dry wood though IMHO
