I've been doing some price comparison for my gas and electricity and Flow Energy keep coming out cheapest for me. From what I can research they are new to the market 2 months ago so cannot find any feedback on them. They claim to be focused on customer service ( don't they all say that ) and are UK staffed.
Anyone got any experience good bad or indifferent?

Mark

Yep they all make that claim, if they are that new to the market i think i would hold on for a bit before changing,so many companies spring up offering this n that and a lot of them go belly up very quickly when they find out they cant compete with the big suppliers.

Yes they came up cheapest for me as well but if I've read it right you have to pay in advance for your energy, there was another company that did that (Sparky I think) and had very bad reviews.

Changed to Flow couple of weeks back and everything went ok from start to finish, good thing is you actually speak to someone in the UK. I have also expressed an interest in taking on their new boiler when its comes into production next year as sounds pretty impressive. They tell me they have over 36,000 customers now so must be doing something right.

Anyway hope this helps.

I have always stayed with the same/right supplier for that type of energy, (ie) EDF, electric supply, British Gas, gas supply.
If either offer a price freeze for a set period, I sign up for that.

Have never seen the point in chopping and changing, because at the end of the day, its all swings and roundabouts.

Take care they are all out to get you. (hammer)

Thanks for the replies. The numbers suggest I would save over £200 a year so not small change.
I am nervous about them being new but also like them being uk based and the person you speak to takes ownership and sorts out whatever you need. Sounds a bit like First Direct who I rate highly.

On the other hand I could go with EDF or NPower and fix not quite as cheap but for 2 winters

I'm still trying to decide

Cheers

Mark (who would not touch British Gas with a barge pole)

Was with British Gas absolute nightmare time. These seem fine and as they are British company unlike the rest thought I would support Uk business for a change.
