If I were to make that flip stop again, I'd add a cursor.
That particular one is on the crosscut sled that I use to cut the cshoulders of tenons on my tablesaw. It's detailed on WE3, The Ultimate Tablesaw Tenon Jig.
The tape is set at zero at the cutting edge of the jig. But when I made it I used a standard 1/8" kerf blade. I now use a thin-kerf blade an so the scale is off by about 1/32". Had I used a cursor with elongated slots, I could have calibrated it to both standard and thin-kerf blades. Ah well, we live and learn.
It works very well as a flip-stop, though.
